THE DWELLING PLACE COMMUNITY OUTREACH is a faith-based community service organization serving Will County. The activities and services of our community outreach are based on a philosophy of ministry that include a concern for the whole person, mind, body and spirit; relationships based on integrity and mutual respect; and a desire to equip people to reach their God-given potential.

OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose is to provide positive alternatives to children and resources for families in need.  Our goal is to fulfill the needs of the total man by:

• Revitalizing the community by being a resource to those in need
• Increasing community awareness
• Mentoring families
• Providing spiritual enrichment
• Providing life-skills training and crisis intervention assistance
• Providing food for meals (Food for the Soul Food Pantry)
• Providing senior services to assist the elderly
• Providing mentoring workshops for women, men and children

Community services are developed in response to local community needs. The activities and services are available to all residents in the communities we serve without regard for their income. Some activities and services, because of their specific purpose and goals, may be limited by age, gender and capacity.
